Be safe and sensible. This website is for informational and entertainment purposes only. I make every effort to make sure the information I provide on my site and link to is correct and up to date, but I strongly advise against using information from any one site or source to attempt to identify and use wild foods. Research advances, controversies arise, mycologists debate, plants and fungi may appear different to different people, and some information may become out of date before I can get back to change it. (If you ever do find such an error, PLEASE contact me I will make sure to address it as quickly as I can.)

Always confirm information with multiple *reliable* sources. Such sources may include a local mycology club, an experienced forager in your local area, or well-established and peer-reviewed field guides. Certain resources online can also be a good way to make sure you’re keeping up with the latest information about identification, toxicity, and nutrition.
